Terms of Use, in plain language
Last updated August 11, 2026 · Questions? Email info@fresh-sheet.com
The short version: Fresh Sheet shows your availability to your buyers. Your listings are yours, the selling stays between you and them, and we ask that you use the service honestly. Using Fresh Sheet — or checking the box on the signup form — means you agree to what’s below.
What Fresh Sheet is
Fresh Sheet is an availability board: farms and collectives post what they have — counts, prices, photos — and buyers see it and send want lists. We don’t process payments, take a cut of sales, or sit in the middle of your transactions. A want list is simply an expression of interest, not a purchase order or binding contract. The actual sale happens between grower and buyer, on whatever terms they agree to, and Fresh Sheetisn’t a party to it.
The beta, trials, and pricing
Fresh Sheet is still early, and evolving quickly. Most farms and collectives start with a 14-day free trial: you give us a card, nothing is charged during the trial, and the subscription begins automatically afterwards unless you cancel first. A small number of farms are invited to join by hand and get six weeks free with no card at all — see below. We’ll always tell you the price before you owe anything.
Because Fresh Sheet is still evolving, features may change and occasionally something may not work as expected. When it does, we’ll do our best to fix it quickly, and we’re easy to reach.
Billing
Every paid plan starts with a 14-day free trial. You give us a card when you sign up, but nothing is charged during the trial. Cancel any time before the 14 days are up and you pay nothing at all. If you don’t cancel, your subscription begins automatically on day 15 and the first payment is taken then. We’ll email you before that happens.
After the trial, paid plans run for a 12-month term. You can pay for the year upfront, or spread the same term across 12 monthly payments — either way the commitment is the year, so monthly plans run to the end of their term.
Cancelling takes effect at the end of the period you’ve paid for, not straight away. You keep full access until then, and you won’t be billed again. Terms renew automatically unless you tell us before the term ends that you’d rather not continue; just email us and we’ll take care of it. Unless required by law, subscription payments aren’t refundable.
Founding Farmers program
Founding Farmers get six weeks free, with no card and no subscription — there is nothing to cancel and nothing that can bill you. At the end of the six weeks you choose whether to continue. If you do, you pay the ordinary price for your plan.
The program previously included a permanent 50% discount on the Farmer subscription. That discount is closed to new farms as of 25 August 2026. Any farm we had already granted it to keeps it on the terms it was given — we don’t take back something we’ve promised. Farms joining from that date get the six weeks free and then the ordinary price, which is also the price it stays: there is no founding rate to expire and no increase waiting behind one.
Your account
Keep your login to yourself, and tell us if you think someone else has it. You’re responsible for what happens under your account. Accounts are for real farms, collectives, and their members — not for scraping, reselling, or impersonating anyone.
You must be at least 18 years old, or otherwise legally able to enter into this agreement.
Your content stays yours
What you post — listings, counts, prices, notes, photos — is yours. You give us permission to store and display it, because that’s literally what the product does, and nothing more: we don’t sell it, license it to others, or use it beyond running your Fresh Sheet.
Post only content you have the right to share, and keep your availability honest — buyers rely on it.
We may remove content that violates these terms or that we reasonably believe infringes someone else’s rights or harms the service or its members.
Our content
Fresh Sheet, including its software, design, branding, and other content we create, belongs to Fresh Sheet and may not be copied, reproduced, or reused without our permission.
Fair use
Use Fresh Sheet honestly: real availability, real prices, no misleading listings, no attempts to break, overload, or reverse engineer the service, no scraping other people’s sheets, and nothing illegal.
If an account violates these terms, threatens the security or operation of the service, or harms other members, we may suspend or close it. When practical, we’ll explain why.
What we promise — and what we can't
We work hard to keep Fresh Sheet fast, accurate, and available, especially on order days. Like any online service, though, maintenance and outages sometimes happen.
The service is provided “as is”: we can’t guarantee it will always be available or error-free, and we aren’t liable for lost sales, lost profits, or other indirect damages from using it. Our total liability for anything related to the service is limited to the amount you’ve paid us during the twelve months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability that the law doesn’t allow us to limit.
Leaving
You can stop using Fresh Sheet at any time. Ask and we’ll hand you your data as a spreadsheet and delete the rest, as described in our Privacy Policy. No exit fees, no hostage data.
Changes and the fine print
If these terms change in a way that matters, we’ll note it here with a new date, and members will hear about it by email before the changes take effect.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Oregon. Any legal dispute relating to these terms or Fresh Sheet will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Oregon. If some part of these terms turns out to be unenforceable, the rest still stands.
